The cannabis space has made some major developments since the so-called “Green Rush” began, but there’s still a lot to learn. The pair explore the NACB’s initiatives, what the organization has planned for the months ahead, and why the sharing of knowledge is critical to the success of the nascent marijuana marketplace.
Gina Kranwinkel is CEO and President of the National Association of Cannabis Businesses (NACB), where she is committed to advancing sound public policy and responsible business practices in the cannabis industry. Under her pioneering leadership, the NACB is adopting national peer-approved industry standards and leading state-level collaboration on social cannabis equity programs. Prior to joining the NACB, Ms. Kranwinkel served as COO of Laterman and Company, a private wealth management company in Manhattan.
Ms. Kranwinkel is also an adjunct professor at the City University of New York, teaching personal health courses in the context of modern society. She developed her passion for issues of health and society as Director of Athletics at Kingsborough Community College.
A lifelong resident of New York City, Ms. Kranwinkel also seeks every opportunity to travel and is currently working remotely in New Zealand. She is passionate about the cannabis industry and thoroughly enjoys building a community with the intelligent, innovative, and driven individuals who form the cannabis industry.
