Follow The Cannabis Extraction Golden Rule
Successful cannabis extraction is guided by one simple yet often overlooked golden rule: focus on where the cannabinoids are. In this segment of the accelerated training, Dr. John MacKay shows you where the money is hidden.
Ever hear of Sutton’s Law? In a famous but fictional quote, the legendary bank robber Willie Sutton replied to an inquiry about why he chose banks as his target of choice with, “because that’s where the money is.” In the time since, Sutton’s Law has been adopted into medicine, describing a core tenant of best medical practice: when treating patients, target the affected area first. In this case, the affected area is “where the money is.”
After several decades in the botanical extraction sector, MacKay developed his own law for improving the outcomes in cannabis concentration. Fortunately, MacKay’s Law is just as simple: don’t waste time and money extracting every part of the plant. Instead, concentrate on where the cannabinoids are concentrating.
John A. MacKay, Ph.D., brings 44 years of experience in analytical testing, extraction, and purification techniques to the hemp and cannabis spaces.
